William L. Grove, 78, of Strodes Run Road, Lewistown, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at his home.
Born June 13, 1947, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Lewis and Tillie (Kauffman) Grove. His wife, Dorothy M. (Johnson) Grove, whom he married Feb. 26, 1965, survives.
Also surviving are: a son, Terry L. Grove and wife Richarda of Lewistown; a daughter, Teresa M. Grove of Lewistown; a brother, Samuel E. Grove and wife Pauline of Lewistown; six grandchildren, Andrew Grove, Nicholas Grove, Tiffany Grove, Curtis Smith and companion April Varner, Mark Smith, Caitlyn Reichenbach and husband Tyler; 11 great grandchildren, Justice, Kodyn, Jubilee, Kohen, Bradley, Chase, Ryver, Gracie, Sutton, Hunter, Landen; one great great granddaughter, Braelynn; and his beloved dog, Annie.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings, Betty Brown, Elsie Campbell, Richard Grove, and Esther Parchey.
A U.S. Army veteran, he served from 1968 to 1974.
Bill retired in 2008 from Dean Foods in Belleville with 47 years of service.
He enjoyed working on his tractor collection, hunting, fishing, and camping at the river in Granville Township.
Services are private.
