Steven L. Harshbarger, 67, of State Route 103 North, Lewistown, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022 at his home.
Born Sept. 12, 1954 in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Russell H. and Carolyn B. (Smith) Harshbarger Sr. His wife, Pamela K. (Miller) Harshbarger, whom he married Sept. 12, 1996, survives.
Also surviving are: a brother, Russell H. Harshbarger Jr. and companion Gloria Straub of Lewistown; a sister, Susan K. Ronk and husband Paul of McVeytown; and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
Preceding him in death was a brother, Rodney Lee Harshbarger.
He retired from Skills of Central Pennsylvania in May of 2018 after 26 years of service.
Steve was a member of the National Rifle Association.
An avid hunter and fisherman, he enjoyed time at camp, watching wildlife, and tending to his cats. Steve was also a talented guitar player and singer, and was known for his small engine repair skills.
His wife, Pam, would like to especially thank his caregivers, Linda Pinto and Sue Watson, for all that they have done during Steve's illness.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at the Pine Glen Church of the Brethren with Pastor Randy Fiske and Mr. Charles Carolus officiating.
Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the church.
