Spangler E. "Sonny" Knepp Jr.

   Spangler E. "Sonny" Knepp Jr., 65, formerly of McVeytown, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 7, 2023.

   Born Dec. 11, 1957 in McVeytown, he was a son of the late Spangler E. and Isabel I. (Seaholtz) Knepp Sr.

   Also preceding him in death were four siblings:  Martha Ross, Carol Snyder, Sandy Smith, and Joy Kahley.

   Surviving are:  four siblings, Bonnie Shawver of Longfellow, Timothy Knepp of Mifflin, Mona Knepp of Lewistown, Scott Knepp and wife Charlotte of Lewistown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

   He previously worked at Skills of Central PA, Inc.

   Sonny enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting aluminum cans, and spending time at the river in McVeytown.

   A graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at the Mattawana Cemetery in McVeytown.
