Sandra June (Atherton) Booher Gearhart

 Sandra June Booher Gearhart, 78, of McVeytown, passed away Monday, August 19, 2024 at Greenwood Village in Lewistown.

   Born September 30, 1945 in Mt. Union, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Evelyn (Reeder) Atherton of Mt. Union.

   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd F. Booher; a grandson, Travis Fink; a granddaughter, Tara Dodson; as well as several brothers and sisters.

   She is survived by three children, Cheryl Dodson and husband Dale of Mifflin, Tracy Earnest of McVeytown, Joey Booher and wife Ranae of McVeytown; five grandchildren, Dustin Dodson and companion Aleah Leach of Mifflin, Chelsea Moist and husband Zachary of Lewistown, Adam Fink of McVeytown, Rashell, and Devon of Lewistown; six great grandchildren, Alivia, Logan, Sariah, Carter, Chase, and Cohen.

   She was a graduate of Captain Jack High School in Mt. Union, and was employed at the former Scotty's Fashions in Lewistown and the former FCI USA in Mt. Union.

   She was also a member of Spring Run Church of the Brethren in McVeytown.

   Sandy was a loving wife, mother, mammaw, sister, and friend.
