Richard F. "Teed" Rittenhouse, 75, of River Road, Lewistown, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at his home.
Born June 8, 1946 in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Edward W. and Mary V. (Miller) Rittenhouse.
Also preceding him in death were five siblings, Sarah Gibson, William Rittenhouse, Robert Rittenhouse, Betty Kadabos, and Dorothy Huot.
Surviving are: a sister, Jeanne Zong of McVeytown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Teed retired from Overhead Door Corp., Lewistown, in August of 2008 with 34 years of service.
He was a member of the Pine Glen Church of the Brethren.
An avid hunter and fisherman, he was a member of the Carlisle Camp.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 12, 2021 at the Pine Glen Church of the Brethren with Pastor Randy Fiske officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Mattawana.
A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the church.
