Mary M. (Kirk) Hopple Steele

   Mary M. Hopple Steele, 75, of Watsontown, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg.
   Born Nov. 29, 1947 in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Robert M. and Ethel (Spigelmyer) Kirk.  
   Also preceding her in death were:  her first husband, Larry W. Hopple; her second husband, David S. Steele; a son-in-law, William E. Knorr; three siblings, Robert Kirk, John Kirk, and M. Marlene Miller.
   Surviving are:  three children, Angela K. Knorr and companion Dennis Robenolt, James P. Hopple, Linda L. Hopple, all of Watsontown; two sisters, Donna Hopple and husband David of Lewistown, Judy Pandel of Burnham; two granddaughters, Shannon L. Knorr and companion James Rhoades, Whitney N. Smith; and four great grandchildren, Tierney, Jaycee, Alyssa, and Z'meaih.
   Mary was a retired LPN, having worked in the skilled nursing unit at Muncy Valley Hospital.
   She enjoyed crafting, gardening, and time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
   A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022 at Harshbarger Funeral Home, 3 South Market St., McVeytown.
   A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
   Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park, Lewistown, at a later date.
