Marlene H. (Youtzy) Stryker

   Marlene H. Stryker, 79, of Bluebird Drive, Lewistown, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024 at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.

   Born Jan. 23, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Delmer L. and Ethel (Emery) Youtzy Sr.  Her husband, Gary L. Stryker, whom she married in 1975, survives.

   Also surviving are:  a daughter, Stacey Piper and husband Steve of Lewistown; four grandchildren, Andrew Mitchell and wife Annie of McClure, Jessica, Jacquelynne and Harlee Shade of Lewistown; and four great grandchildren.

   She was preceded in death by a son, Jack Douglas Shade, in 2004; and a brother, Delmer L. "Butch" Youtzy Jr.

   Marlene was a graduate of Rothrock High School and retired from Philips Ultrasound in Reedsville.

   She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren; and enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers.

   A graveside service will be held at a later date.
