Lois Johnson Obituary

   Lois A. Johnson, 86, of State Route 103 South, McVeytown, and formerly of State Route 655, Belleville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 18, 2023 in Largo, Florida.
   Born Dec. 17, 1936 in Bratton Township, she was a daughter of the late Malcolm W. "Mac" and Laura E. (Vaughan) Bratton.  Her husband, Harold E. Johnson, whom she married Oct. 11, 1958, survives.
   Also surviving are:  a son, Brian E. Johnson and wife Nancy Jo of Mohnton; a sister, Helen O. Jones and husband Richard of Clearwater, Florida; a brother, Harry D. Bratton of Sunbury; four grandchildren, Victoria Downs and husband Kyle of Waynesboro, Malcolm Johnson of Cleveland, Ohio, Laura Patterson and husband James of Wichita, Kansas, Carol Gilpin and husband Matt of Reading; and one great granddaughter, Elli Downs.
   She was preceded in death by infant twin sons; and two sisters, B. Jean Kenepp and Mary Ann Lehman.
   Lois was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Allensville.  Most of all she enjoyed time spent with her family.
   A true people person, Lois always left her light shine and touched many lives throughout the years.
   A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 200 West Main St., Allensville, with Pastor Mike Sigler officiating.
   Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 163, Allensville, PA  17002; or to the Salvation Army, 9 S. Dorcas St., Lewistown, PA  17044.
