Kenneth J. Casner, 91, of Casner Lane, Lewistown, passed away to the Lord on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 in the same home in which he was born on Nov. 7, 1931. He was a son of the late James Herbert and Anna (Mertz) Casner. On Feb. 14, 1953 he married Dot A. (Johnson) Casner, who survives at their home.
Also surviving are: three children, Randy J. Casner, Dale K. Casner, Karol A. Tyson and husband Todd Monroe, all of Lewistown; a granddaughter whom they raised, Tara Foflygen; two sisters, Marian Cherry of Granville, Doris Fultz of Mechanicsburg; 13 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy J. Harshbarger; four siblings, Janet Huffman, Donald Casner, Goldie McKalips, infant Julie Casner; and a grandson, Coty S. Monroe.
Ken was a lifelong dairy farmer and Presbyterian by faith.
He enjoyed hunting and his time spent in the 302 Camp, the Blue Mountain Inn Camp, and the Atkinson Mills Sportsmen's Club. He also enjoyed riding his four wheeler around on the farm.
A memorial service is being planned for a future date.
