Kenneth L. Bailey

   Kenneth L. Bailey, 81, of Ridge Road, McVeytown, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
   Born Jan. 26, 1941 in McVeytown, he was a son of the late Walter W. and Viola B. (Bilger) Bailey.  His wife, Linda L. (Harshbarger) Bailey, whom he married Sept. 6, 1958, preceded him in death on Jan. 29, 2021.
   Also preceding him in death were eight siblings:  Albert Wilson, Helen Carter, Daniel "Fat" Bailey, Paul "Speed" Bailey, Harold "Arp" Bailey, Earl "Joe" Bailey, and two infant sisters.
   Surviving are:  four children, Clifford D. Bailey and wife Joyce of McVeytown, Ashley S. Bailey of Mattawana, Leslie K. Stimely and husband Brad of McVeytown, Michael L. Bailey and wife Amy of Lewistown; six grandchildren, Nick, Chris, Shelby, Justin, Courtney, and Hunter Bailey; six great grandchildren, Damon, Rylan, Alexia, Brianna, Bailey, and Rhett.
   Ken worked various jobs throughout his life, and retired as a mechanic for PennDOT.
   He was a member of the McVeytown United Methodist Church.
   He enjoyed muzzleloader hunting, woodworking, and taking care of his property.  ken also lovingly cared for his wife, Linda, for ten years before her passing.
   A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4, 2022 at Harshbarger Funeral Home, 3 South Market St., McVeytown, with Minister Sylvan Yoder officiating.  Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park, Lewistown.
   A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2022 at the funeral home.
