Judy A. (Hunley) Elder

  Judy A. Elder, 84, of Cider Lane, Lewistown, went to be with the Lord, her husband Gerald, and her daughter Jennifer on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025 at her home.

   Born March 16, 1941 in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Thomas K. and Genevieve J. (Mills) Hunley.  Her husband, Gerald E. Elder, whom she married Aug. 7, 1965, preceded her in death on April 10, 2021.

   Also preceding her in death was a daughter, Jennifer A. Elder, on Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019.

   Surviving are:  a daughter, Kimberly A. Clark of Lewistown; a son-in-law, Michael A.R. Corson of Lewistown; five grandchildren, Spencer Corson and fiancée Amber Allison, Parker Clark and fiancée Cheyanne Duke, Hayden Clark, Sophia Clark, Sadie Stryker; and four great grandchildren, Luna, Iris, Violet, and Arya.

   Mrs. Elder was an elementary school teacher in the Mifflin County School District for 28 years, retiring in 2002.

   She was a member of the Rhodes Memorial United Methodist Church in Highland Park, the Mifflin County Historical Society, and the Mifflin County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees.

   Judy enjoyed teaching, and loved spending time with her family.

   Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Thomas Morningstar officiating.  Interment will be in Mt. Rock Cemetery.
