Jeannette Miller Obituary

   Jeannette T. Miller, 84, of Mattawana, entered the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at William Penn Healthcare in Lewistown.

   Born April 15, 1941, in Shamokin, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Catherine (Guzick) Sherrick.  Her husband, Richard T. Miller Sr., whom she married Sept. 21, 1968, survives.

   Also surviving are:  a son, Jeffrey M. Miller and wife Sonja of Lewistown; a daughter, Audrey J. Shawver of McVeytown; three grandchildren, Raquel Pinto, Jeffrey Miller, Jaclyn Miller; three great grandchildren, Amalie Miller, Kinslee Pinto, and Landon Pinto.

   In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Richard T. Miller Jr. and a brother, Walter Sherrick.

   Primarily a homemaker, she was also an Avon representative for 20 years.

   She was a member of the McVeytown United Methodist Church where she served as a choir member and enjoyed attending the Methodist Women activities.

   Jeannette enjoyed crafting and visiting with friends, but most loved time with her family,

   Her family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of William Penn Healthcare in Lewistown for the comfort they extended to her.

   A celebration of Jeannette's life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 7, 2025 at the McVeytown United Methodist Church with Pastor Kim Cartwright officiating.

   A visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at the church.
