Irene C. "Rene" (Hagner) Myers

   Irene C. "Rene" Myers, 70, of Irvin Hill Road, McVeytown, died suddenly on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at her home.
   Born May 3, 1952 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Ruth (Freedman) Hagner.  Her husband, Jeffrey R. Myers Sr., whom she married March 20, 1993, survives.
   Also surviving are:  five children, Billy A. Sampson and wife Mara of Broomall, Patty A. Sampson and companion Andrew Smith of Secane, Jeffrey R. Myers Jr. of McVeytown, John H. Myers of Delaware County, Elyssa A. Myers of Lewistown; a sister, Ruthann Hagner of North Carolina; a brother, James Hagner of California; 14 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
   She was preceded in death by four brothers:  Lawrence, Stephen, Michael, and Joseph Hagner.
   A homemaker, Rene enjoyed flower gardening.  She also had fun reading tarot cards for family and friends.
   A memorial service is being planned for a future date in Delaware County.
