Hazel E. (Goss) Klippert

  Hazel E. Klippert, 98, of West Holiday Street, McVeyown, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 2, 2022 at her home.
   Born April 12, 1924 in Granville, she was a daughter of the late Charles A. and Iva E. (Miller) Goss Sr.  Her husband, Glenn S. Klippert, preceded her in death on April 6, 1983.
   Also preceding her in death were five siblings:  Christopher Goss, Charles Goss Jr., Margaret Miller, Grace Miller, and James Goss.
   Surviving are:  three daughters, Carol W. French of Three Springs, Paula J. Miller and husband Ronald of Three Springs, Pamela E. Mattern and husband Jeffrey of Mattawana; two sisters-in-law, Grace Goss and Barbara Goss; eight grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
   A homemaker, she also waitressed for many years at the former Space Diner in Mcveytown and Red's Diner in Lewistown.
   Hazel was a member of the Pine Glen Church of he Brethren.
   A very loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she always put her family first.
   A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 5, 2022 at Harshbarger Funeral Home, 3 South Market St., McVeytown, with Pastor Randy Fiske officiating. Interment will be in Mattawana Cemetery, McVeytown.
   A viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.
   Memorial contributions may be made to the Pine Glen Church of the Brethren, 61 Pine Glen Rd., Lewistown, PA  17044.
