Harvey Lane Obituary

Harvey Duane Lane, 79, of Upper Scenic Drive, McVeytown, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at his home.

Born Feb. 19, 1945 in Mt. Union, he was a son of the late Duane Lane and the late Belle (Bowman) Lane Weikel. His wife, Maria A. (Norris) Lane, preceded him in death on Feb. 11, 2020.

Also preceding him in death was a daughter, Tina Marie Kearns; a sister, Ella Jean Wertz; and an infant brother, Terry Lee Lane.

Surviving are: two sons, Michael D. Lane and wife Michelle, Darrell T. Lane and wife Carole, both of McVeytown; two sisters, Shirley Hamman of McVeytown, Carol.Grubb of McConnellsburg; six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter.

Duane retired from Marlette Homes in Lewistown.
