Harry J. "Barney" Aultz

   Harry J. "Barney" Aultz, 87, of Burnham, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at his home.
   Born Oct. 1, 1934 in McVeytown, he was a son of the late Isaac H. and Ellen M. (Himes) Aultz.  His wife, Judith A. (Bloom) Aultz, whom he married June 13, 1964, survives.
   Also surviving are:  a daughter, Sue Baumgardner and husband Jeff; a daughter -in-law, Lori A. Aultz; and four grandchildren, Derek Wileman, Joshua Aultz, Allison Aultz, and Jonas Aultz.
   Preceding him in death was a son, Harry L. Aultz on Jan. 28, 2019; and five siblings, Bessie Yocum, Robert Aultz, Helen Parchey, Shirley Aultz, and John Aultz.
   After attending high school in McVeytown he served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1959.
   Early in life he was employed at the American Viscose Corp., and later retired in 1996 from Corning Glass in State College.
   Barney enjoyed flea markets, yard sales, and auctions.  His favorite pastime was repairing lawn mowers.
   A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2022 at Harshbarger Funeral Home, 3 South Market St., McVeytown, with Pastor George Yocum and Pastor John Walters officiating.  Interment will be in Mattawana Cemetery, McVeytown.
   A viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to 365 Hospice, 220 Regent Court, Unit E2, State College, PA  16801; or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105.
