Harold L. Carolus

   Harold L. Carolus, 89, of McVeytown, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021 at his home.
   Born March 4, 1932 in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Frank C. and Catherine (Harris) Carolus.  His wife, Donna Jean (Cavanaugh) Carolus, whom he married Sept. 4, 1955, survives.
   Also surviving are:  three sons, Bruce A. Carolus and wife Pam of McVeytown, William L. Carolus of Lewistown, Jeffrey L. Carolus of McVeytown; four grandchildren, Scott Carolus, Jason Carolus, Angie Carolus, William Carolus Jr.; and eight great grandchildren.
   Preceding him in death were seven brothers, six sisters, and a daughter-in-law, Joyce Carolus.
   Harold was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
   He was employed as an insulator and asbestos worker for Local 23 in Harrisburg for 38 years.
   He was a member of the VFW Post #7011 in Lewistown, and the American Legion in Milroy.
   An avid hunter and fishermen, he enjoyed his time at camp and with his family.
   Per his wishes, no services will be held at this time.
   Interment will be in Shope's Cemetery in Blacklog.
