Glenn Z. Nolt, 62, of Market St., McVeytown, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 19, 2023 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born Oct. 12, 1960 in Ephrata, he was a son of the late Phares W. and Anna Mae (Zimmerman) Nolt. His wife, Rhoda E. (Yoder) Nolt, whom he married April 19, 1980, survives.
Also surviving are: two daughters, Gwendolyn S. Nolt of Baltimore, Charity R. Nolt of Marietta; six siblings, Lamar Z. Nolt and wife Miriam of Woodleaf, North Carolina, Elaine Z. Leinbach and husband David of Shippensburg, Marlene Z. Burkholder and husband Mervin of Newville, Mary Lou Ramer and husband Joseph, Jay P. Nolt and wife Edna Mae, Marlin R. Nolt and wife Marian, all of Shippensburg.
He was employed in maintenance at Valley View Retirement Community and previously worked as a mechanic at Curt's Car Care.
Glenn attended the McVeytown Presbyterian Church .
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, John Deere tractors, and most of all his family.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at the Pine Glen Alliance Church, 1058 State Route 103 North, Lewistown, with Ministers John Reeser and Jeffrey Fisher officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Mattawana.
Viewings will be held at the Pine Glen Alliance Church from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday.
