Gary C. Beaver

   Gary C. Beaver, 76, of McVeytown, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024 at his home.

   Born March 31, 1948 in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Boyd L. and Gladys M. (Eby) Beaver.

   Surviving are:  a son, Shawn D. Beaver and wife Jamie of Beaver Springs; a daughter, Amy L. Barner and husband Steve of Milroy; a brother, Merle L. Beaver of Strodes Mills; a sister, Connie E. Houtz and husband Richard of McVeytown; five grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

   Gary was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the Stroup-Alexander VFW Post # 5935 in Belleville.

   He retired from Standard Steel in Burnham.

   A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 15, 2024 at Harshbarger Funeral Home, 3 South Market St., McVeytown, with Pastor Connie Maclay officiating.  Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park, Lewistown.

   A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
