Eva L. (Cavanaugh) Forgy
Obituary
Eva L. Forgy, 84, of Ferguson Valley Road, McVeytown, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at her home.
Born May 23, 1938 in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Lillian (Conner) Cavanaugh. Her husband, Charles L. Forgy, whom she married Sept. 5, 1958, preceded her in death on Aug. 28, 2017.
Also preceding her in death were three brothers, Marvin, George, and Donald Cavanaugh; and a sister, Patricia Rome.
Surviving are: three children, Garry L. Forgy and wife Betty of McVeytown, Sherri L. Morgan and husband Ronald of McVeytown, Larry J. Forgy and wife Mischelle of Tyrone; a sister, Kay Kenepp of McVeytown; a brother, Ray Cavanaugh and wife Linda of Belleville; eight grandchildren, Stephanie Stoffa, Jason Morgan, Caitlin Myers, Eric Forgy, Benjamin Forgy, Darren Forgy, Megan Beiswenger, Erin Maceno; and 18 great grandchildren.
Eva was a homemaker and a very faithful grandmother and great grandmother. She also enjoyed sewing.
She was a member of the Atkinson Mills United Methodist Church and the Newton-Wayne Fire Co. Auxiliary.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Robert Zook officiating. Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park, Lewistown.
