Donald V. Harshbarger

   Donald V. Harshbarger, 85, of Cedar Drive, Strodes Mills, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
   Born Dec. 5, 1935 in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Emma P. Harshbarger.  His wife, Wanda J. (Price) Harshbarger, whom he married July 25, 1963, survives.
   Also surviving are:  two sons, Donald C. Harshbarger and companion Mindy Hostetler of Reedsville, Steven T. Harshbarger and wife Keitha of Maitland; two granddaughters, Rachel A. Shoemaker, Nicole L. Weaver; four great grandchildren, Adriana, Tristan, Landon, Liam; and a niece Joan McMullen.
   A retired, self-employed truck driver, Don and his wife also owned and operated Wanda's Diner in Strodes Mills for 22 years.
   He enjoyed hunting, working in his yard, and his dog Whiskers.
   Private services will be held with Pastor William Esborn officiating.  Interment will be in Mattawana Cemetery, McVeytown.
