David W. Keiser Sr., 69, of Irvin Ridge Road, McVeytown, went to be with the Lord and his beloved wife Sharon on Monday, April 12, 2021 at Ohesson Manor in Lewistown following a long battle with vascular disease.
Born Aug. 18, 1951 in McVeytown, he was a son of the late Guy H. "Shorty" and Mary L. (Cramer) Keiser. His wife, Sharon E. (Nickoloff) Keiser, whom he married March 14, 1970, preceded him in death on Jan. 27, 2019.
Also preceding him in death was an infant son, Jimmy Lee Keiser; an infant brother, John Herbert Keiser; and a brother, Howard W. Keiser Sr.
Surviving are: a daughter, Sherry L. Pecht and husband Monte of Lewistown; a son, David W. Keiser Jr. and wife Jerri of McVeytown; a sister, Linda L. Forgy and husband Paul of McVeytown; a brother, Richard A. Keiser and wife Sharen of McVeytown; a sister-in-law, Helen S. Keiser of McVeytown; and two granddaughters, Mikayla Pecht and Cadie States.
Early in life he was a self-employed truck driver before becoming a full time dairy farmer.
Dave enjoyed spending time in his meat house butchering and talking with his friends and family.
