Darlene M. (Harshbarger) Rutherford

   Darlene M. Rutherford, 69, of State Route 103 South, McVeytown, passed away Saturday, March 13, 2021 at her home following a brief battle with cancer.
   Born April 14, 1951 in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Norman E. and Patricia G. (Knepp) Harshbarger Sr.  Her husband, Gary N. Rutherford, whom she married June 20, 1970, survives.
   Also surviving are:  a daughter, Jennifer L. Rutherford of State College; a son, Matthew G. Rutherford of Easton; and two sisters, Anna M. Harshbarger of Lewistown, Carol J. Wagner of Terre Haute, IN.
   Preceding her in death was a brother, Norman E. Harshbarger Jr..
   Darlene retired from the Mifflin County Library.
   She was a member of the McVeytown United Methodist Church.
   Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Randy Traxler officiating.  Interment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Mattawana.
