Darlene D. Marker, 73, of McVeytown, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at her home.
Born September 17, 1950 in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Robert P. and Arlene G. (Krepps) Rhodes Sr.
Surviving are: her husband, Andrew F. Lower; three children, Joshua R. Rhodes and wife Cynthia of Lewistown, Rhonda B. (Marker) Stayrook of McVeytown, Jeremy A. Lower of McVeytown; four siblings, Jean A. Weaver and husband Harvey of McVeytown, Debra K. Moore and husband Glenn of Manheim, William L. Rhodes and wife Susan of McVeytown, Sharon E. Richardson of Lancaster; 11 grandchildren, Benjamin, Preston (wife Clara), Austin, Darren, Weston, and Caden Rhodes; Breanna Stayrook; Alexis, Andy, and Axton Lower; and Aurora Frankhouser.
Preceding her in death were two brothers, Steven R. and Robert P. Rhodes Jr.
Darlene loved getting flowers and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. They meant the world to her! She enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune, westerns, and her Pittsburgh Steelers.
Per her wishes, there will be no immediate services and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
