Danny Mowry Obituary

Danny L. Mowry, 62, of Mountain Lane, McVeytown, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021 at his home.
Born Oct. 31, 1959 in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Jess Mowry and the late Patsy (Franklin) McCracken. He was also a grandson of the late William and Mary Kauffman of McVeytown. His wife, Connie (Shilling) Mowry, preceded him in death on May 20, 2018.
Surviving are; a daughter, Ashley R. Dippery and husband Cory of Yeagertown; a son, Shane A. Mowry of Lewistown; two stepchildren, Kendra Houp of Strodes Mills, Harry Filler III of Lewistown; four siblings, Randy Mowry, Steve Mowry, Brian Mowry Sr., all of Lewistown, Kelly Mayle of Arkansas; a half-brother, Kevin McCracken of Missouri; and six grandchildren.
Early in life he was employed at Overhead Door Corp. and the Mifflin County Housing Authority.
Danny enjoyed time with his dog, Arlo, and was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman.
Services will be private.
