Carolyn Louise "Carrie Lou" (Deihl) Carstetter

   Carolyn Louise "Carrie Lou" Carstetter, 92, of Burnham, passed away at 9:15 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at William Penn Healthcare in Lewistown.

   Born May 29, 1931 in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Elmer Clair and Gladys M. (Diven) Deihl.  Her husband, Irvin L. "Catty" Carstetter, whom she married Aug. 7, 1949, preceded her in death on Dec. 15, 2016.

   Also preceding her in death was a son-in-law, Ronald Bowen; and three siblings, Barbara Druckemiller, Joseph Deihl, and Marjorie Kinzer.

   Surviving are:  three children, Linda Bowen of Lewes, Delaware, Jeff Carstetter and wife Kathy of San Tan Valley, Arizona, Steve Carstetter and wife Susan of McClure; four grandchildren, Aimee Isaac and husband Eugene, Michael Bowen and wife Laura, Kelly Redd and husband Will, Scott Carstetter and wife Abby; eight great grandchildren, Avery, Everett and Addison Isaac; Jett and Mykel Carstetter; Natalie, Tyler, and Sam Redd.

   Carrie Lou was a homemaker, volunteered at Lewistown Hospital, and enjoyed spending time with her family.

   A memorial service is being planned for a future date.
