Carol A. Hesser, 76, of State Route 103 South, McVeytown, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Greenwood Village in Lewistown.
Born Oct. 30, 1949, in McVeytown, she was a daughter of the late Edward E. Hesser Sr. and the late Zana L. (Rittenhouse) Hesser.
Also preceding her in death were two brothers, William and Richard Hesser.
Surviving are: five siblings, Joyce Maxine Pecht of Greenwood Village, Edward E. Hesser Jr. of William Penn, Sandy L. Hesser of McVeytown, Susan J. Losch of McVeytown, Randy L. Hesser and wife Cindy of McVeytown; a sister-in-law, Vesta Hesser of McVeytown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Carol was employed as clerk typist for the PA Dept. of Labor and Industry, retiring in 2013.
She enjoyed crocheting, traveling the country, taking cruises, and trips to the beach.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Harshbarger Funeral Home, 3 South Market St., McVeytown, with Pastor Faith Anderson officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Mattawana.
A viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
