Brenda A. Crosson, 81, of Ferguson Valley Rd., McVeytown, unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on Sunday morning, March 23, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born Oct. 13, 1943 in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Carl L. and Hazel J. (Kenepp) Casner. Her husband, Donald E. Crosson, whom she married June 8, 1962, survives.
Also surviving are: a son, Scott A. Crosson and wife Dana of McVeytown; a daughter, Kelly A. Rodkey and husband Charles of McVeytown; two brothers, Ronald Casner and wife Anna of McVeytown, Lee Price and wife Cindy of Ligonier; five grandchildren, Jeffrey, Alysha, and Kody Crosson, Darik and Justin Rodkey; and six great grandchildren, Evan, Alexis, Adalyn, Lilly, Bentley, and Tucker.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Benjamin Casner; and a sister, Cindy Martin.
Brenda retired from G.E. Inspection Technologies in Lewistown.
She was a member of the Spring Run Church of the Brethren where she served on numerous church committees over the years.
Brenda cherished time with her family and was very supportive of her grandchildren. If they had activities or sporting events she was always there for them. She was also an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing many meals for family gatherings.
A celebration of Brenda's Life will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at the Spring Run Church of the Brethren, 6712 Ferguson Valley Rd., McVeytown, with Pastors Craig and Kate Gandy officiating.
Following the service, all family and friends are invited to a meal and time of fellowship at the church.
