Beulah Mae Folk Aurand, 97, formerly of Ferguson Valley and the Rothrock Apartments, and currently a guest at William Penn Healthcare in Lewistown, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 16, 2024 at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born Feb. 14, 1927 in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Nettie (Reigle) Harbst. Her first husband, David L. Folk, preceded her in death in 1986. Her second husband, Donald Aurand, preceded her in death in 1996.
Also preceding her in death were two sons, Ronald E. Folk, Timothy S. Folk; a son-in-law, Bill Rhodes; and a granddaughter, Tamy R.A. Wilson.
The last surviving member of her immediate family, she was predeceased by 12 siblings.
Surviving are: four children, Kathy L. Rhodes of McVeytown, Patricia A. Wray and husband Robert "Chip" Wray Jr. of Crossfield, Tennessee, Dale E. Folk and wife Marian of McAlisterville, David W. Folk and wife Crystal of Canonsburg; 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.
Early in life she was employed at the American Viscose Corp. in Lewistown before working in housekeeping at the Burnham Holiday Inn. She was later employed at the Jamesway in Burnham.
Beulah was a member of Ellen Chapel Church where she sang with the choir for many years. She was also a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Lewistown.
A fabulous pie maker, she enjoyed baking to share with her family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2024 at Juniata Memorial Park in Lewistown with Pastor Mark Hill officiating.
