Bernice P. (Kauffman) Knox

Bernice P. "Bernie" Knox, 95, formerly of McVeytown, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at the home of her daughter, Jean, in Lititz.

Born Feb. 4, 1925 in Bratton Township, she was a daughter of the late Ezra and Beulah (Youtzy) Kauffman.

Surviving are: four children, Sandra Howell and husband John of Corsica, Jean Clouser and husband Gary of Lititz, William Knox and wife Teresa of Las Vegas, NV, Robert Knox of Burnham; nine grandchildren and their families.

Preceding her in death was a daughter, Linda Knox; a granddaughter, Janice Patrick; and six siblings, John Kauffman, Ethel Kenepp, Earl Kauffman, Dolly Rhodes, Frederick Kauffman, and William Kauffman.

She retired from the former Malta Home in Granville, where she was employed as a CNA.

Bernie was a member of the Pine Glen Church of the Brethren.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021 at Harshbarger Funeral Home, 3 South Market St., McVeytown.  Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park, Lewistown.

A viewing will be held from 12;30 p.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
