Barry R. Hanawalt

   Barry R. Hanawalt, 74, of Ferguson Valley Road, McVeytown, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
   Born May 19, 1947 in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Charles C. and Edna P. (Renninger) Hanawalt.  His wife, Connie L. (Workinger) Hanawalt, whom he married Sept. 20, 1975, survives.
   Also surviving are: two sons, Charles B. Hanawalt and wife Herly of Indonesia, Daniel R. Hanawalt and wife Rachel of Lansdale; and three grandsons, David, James, and Gabriel Hanawalt.
   He was employed at Lewistown Hospital for thirty-four years; first as an orderly, as later as a receiving clerk. After retirement he continued as a volunteer in the hospital's health information management department.
   Barry was a member of Calvary Bible Church in Lewistown.
   A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021 at Harshbarger Funeral Home, 3 South Market St., McVeytown, with Pastor Robert Marsh officiating.  Interment will be in Spring Run Cemetery, McVeytown.
   A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
   Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Bible Church, 100 Calvary Lane; or to Davita Dialysis Center, 611 Electric Ave., both of Lewistown, PA  17044.
