Andrew W. Parchey, 62, of Riverview Lane, Lewistown, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 7, 2021 at William Penn Healthcare in Lewistown.
Born March 7, 1959 in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Robert R. and Twila A. (Geedy) Parchey.
Also preceding him in death was a sister, Pamela O'Keefe.
Surviving are: three sons, Dustin J. Parchey and wife Angela of Middletown, MD, Jared M. Parchey of Lewistown, Ryan A. Parchey of Lewistown; a sister, Kathy Eckley and husband John Jr. of Milroy; seven grandchildren, Lynden, Nolan, Kellen, Preston, Rowan, Haiden, and Rylan Parchey.
He retired from the U.S. Army, having served from 1978 to 2008. He was an Army recruiter in Lewistown for many years, and later was employed at Lowes.
Andy was a member of the Bear Tree Camp in Ferguson Valley.
He enjoyed reading, hunting, and fishing the Juniata River and Lake Raystown. He also enjoyed cutting wood and spending time with family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville.
