Andrea graduated from Rothrock High School in 1973 and attended one year at Hesston College. She worked at the Lewistown Sentinel, Central Penn Supply, and the Tuscarora Intermediate Unit. Andrea was a stay-at-home mom, then joined her husband, Theil, in owning and operating Friendship Bookstore.

Andrea was a faithful preschool Sunday school teacher and children’s choir director at Pine Glen Alliance Church and Locust Grove Mennonite Church. Andrea’s life was filled with music. She loved to sing, play the piano, lead worship with Theil, direct choirs, and most of all, sing her kids and grandkids to sleep. Her songs of faith, hope, love, and heaven helped countless people know and celebrate Jesus’ love for them.

The family would like to thank Andrea’s nurses and caregivers for their kindness and care, and thank family, friends, and neighbors near and far for ongoing love and support.
